New Favourite Math
Levels A-F The 2 nd and the revised edition of New Favorite Math Series which is created in
accordance with the Principles and Standards for School Mathematics (PSSM),
(Equity, Curriculum, Teaching, Learning, Assessment, Technology), and is produced
by the National Council for Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM).
This Series (1-6) carefully considers:
- Connecting the Standards for Mathematical Practice to the Standards for
Mathematical Content.
- Using mathematical concepts, generalizations and laws in a smooth way.
- Employing points of stimulating all forms of mathematical thinking.
- Employing modern, constructivist teaching methods.
- Using realistic pictures and portrayals far away from fantasy.
- The modernity of the content and keeping up with the technological advancement.
